Philip Nome, Managing Partner

Philip Nome has been actively involved in various Sales and Marketing areas for 40 years.

Prior to becoming Managing Partner at Helix Global Partners, Nome was President and Chief Executive Officer of Realscape Corporation. Realscape provides virtual mapping software solutions for First Responders and Facility Managers. Nome was previously CEO and Managing Partner of Panoz Auto Marketing Company, the marketing activity for America’s leading manufacturer of small-volume sports cars. Panoz Auto Marketing Company coordinated world-wide marketing services for Panoz branded sports car offerings, merchandising items and materials. Prior to joining Panoz, Nome was the Chief Operating Officer of MyRepairShop Inc., a provider of Operating Management Software to independent automobile repair shops. Before joining MyRepairShop, Nome was Chief Executive Officer and Equity Partner of BlueDot Design, a company that provided design services to major automotive manufacturers. Nome spent over 33 years in a variety of Strategic Marketing and Management functions at Ford Motor Company. He finished his career at Ford as Director of Marketing Services and Marketing Operations, and was also Director of Business Operations for Ford Investment Enterprises Corporation.

Nome holds a B.S. in Marketing from Central Michigan University.

Craig Nome, Managing Partner

Craig Nome has been actively involved in various Sales and Marketing roles for 16 years.

Prior to being named Managing Partner at Helix Global Partners, Nome acted as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Realscape Corporation, which provides virtual mapping software tools for First Responders and Facility Managers. Nome was previously Managing Partner of Panoz Auto Marketing Company, the marketing activity for America’s leading manufacturer of small-volume sports cars. Panoz Auto Marketing Company coordinated world-wide marketing services for Panoz branded sports car offerings, merchandising items and materials. Prior to joining Panoz, Nome spent 10 years at GlaxoSmithKline in a variety of Sales and Marketing positions. Nome also worked at Commerce Bank as a Financial Analyst, and began his career as a Regional Marketing Manager for Little Caesars Enterprises.

Nome holds an M.B.A. from Saint Louis University and a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University.

Melissa Blakeslee, Partner and Advisor

Melissa Blakeslee brings over ten years of experience in accounting, finance and marketing.

Most recently, Blakeslee peformed as Executive Director of Admissions for the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. Earlier, Melissa joined the Coca-Cola Company as an Associate Brand Manager and led the launch of a new beverage for the Minute Maid division. Prior to the Coca-Cola Company, Blakeslee worked in Finance at Ford Motor Company where she managed investment analysis as part of a product development team. Prior to Ford, she worked at Accenture as a Financial Analyst, and began her career at Ernst & Young in Assurance Services where she earned her CPA.

Blakeslee holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Bowei Yu, Managing Partner – China & Far East

Dr. Bowei Yu (Bowei) has over 20 years of international business experience focused on marketing, enterprise development and organizational design. Throughout this period, Bowei has consistently exhibited the capability and capacity to create enterprise value.

In addition to functioning as Managing Partner – China & Far East for Helix Global Partners, Bowei is founder and Managing Director, of RittenHouse Consultancy, Shanghai, China. The RittenHouse client practice focuses on implementing growth initiatives, improving management capabilities and developing strategic partnerships. Bowei and Rittenhouse successfully established new China-based international enterprises, including the creation of complete green-field operations. Strategic initiatives employed during these enterprise establishment efforts include detailed market research, brand development exercises, sales/marketing process implementation, organizational design creation as well as management team member evaluations and selection.

Past Bowei / Rittenhouse clients include, but are not limited to: Wyeth Whitehall (pharmaceuticals), Tian Fang (pharmaceuticals), Dong-e E-jiao (pharmaceuticals and healthcare), Red Heart K (pharmaceuticals), Tiens Group (multi-level marketing of consumer products), Yili (dairy), Zheng Zhang (franchising of household cleaning products), Chang Ling Group (household electrical), Sail (automotive batteries), Bei Da Huang (rice), Jin Yu Group (biological pharmacy), Guangzhao Group (biotechnology), Ya Tong (ocean shipping).
